Along-side working with the Plagued team to create audio assets for their game, I’ve started teaching myself how to use the Source SDK to build maps for Portal. It’s pretty easy to pick up and the more I think about it, the more the sound of putting together a mod team is becoming realistic. This should also serve as an opportunity for me to get some more experience with audio for games and will also help me understand the programming side of game audio even more. If you’ve got some skills that you think might help out, get in contact with me. Once things are more solidly in place, I’ll announce more ‘official’ plans.
